Webinar on The Effective Collabortive Safety Leadership

The Association and The Civil Division of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) have jointly organized a Webinar on “The Effective Collaborative Safety Leadership”. Details of the webinar as follows: Date: 15 December 2022 (Thursday) Time: 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm (Webinar link will be provided to access at 7:00 pm) Language: Cantonese Abstract: The importance of Effective Collaborative Safety Leadership has been under the spotlight of construction industry recently, in encouragement of mutual trust yet proactive safety management system under four major pillars: Trust, Communication, Collaboration and Ownership. HKIE was honoured to be invited in co-organising a webinar on Effective Collaborative Safety Leadership, following to the publish of journal coordinated by Dr Angel Li of YHL at HKIE Journal (June 2022 issue). Recognizing that safety culture lies at the root of safety performance, the AAHK project engaged Dr A. Li of YHL Consulting in exploring how a Parallel Transformation Approach (Positive psychology and technology) program for deeper appreciation of safety awareness and better overall safety performance. The 3801 Project became an excellent example of how building and continuous refinement of safety culture is crucial for construction safety and effective collaboration. Based on the 4-years experiences in developing and implementing the Augmented Collaborative Safety Culture (ACSC), this webinar invited 3 experienced professionals to share key collaborative ideas to build a positive safety culture in toward to the goal of decreasing accidents and enhanced safety performance onsite.
