Professor Eur Ing Ir MAK has been working over 20 years in plant enhancement project (Fuel/LPG/lubes terminal, ISO22000 food factory, HKGMP pharm factory). He has experience in LPG tank revalidation services, LNG pipeline A&A inspection work, Borescope inspection in Pharmaceutical Plants, certification of Tower Crane & LALG. He is represented Shenzhen-Hong Kong Professional Management Association Ltd. to present this seminar (Safe use of PEWP & ISO 9712 NDT course).

Abstract : 
Power-operated elevating work platforms (PEWPs) offer a flexible way to reach jobs at height - they are fully mobile and can access areas with restricted space, improve site safety, and save money. But it did happen that people have been seriously injured and killed involving PEWPs accidents. The causes of these accidents have included: equipment failure not following the manufacturer’s recommendations, inadequate training and supervision, not fully assessing the hazards and risks of the job, site and the equipment. 

The speaker will review the GN Safe use of PEWP and application of NDT inspection to PEWP , he will share:
1. An introduction to Guidance Notes on Safe Use of Power-operated Elevating Work Platforms
2. Maintenance and inspection of PEWP by NDT
3. Inspection procedure of PEWP by NDT
4. Condition survey of PEWP and review the Condition survey report
The speaker will introduce ISO 9712 NDT course, he will share:
1. Why personal certification?
2. ISO 9712 NDT personal certification course.
