Speakers Mr. KAM Yiu Kuen Past President & Current EC Member Registered Safety Officer, Register Pharmacist (HK), and Registered Mediator (HKMAAL). He holds Master degrees on Biochemistry, Health, Safety and Environmental Management, and Religious Study. He is the Fellow Member of HKOSHA and HKIOEH; Member of the American Conference of Industrial Hygienist, USA and Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, UK. Mr. Kam retired from the Headship of the Health, Safety and Environment Office of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University on July 2018 whereas he established the office in 1994. At present he provides consultancy services to local industries on various aspect and serves as guess lecture of OSHC on chemical safety. He started his safety career as Dangerous Goods Manager of the University of Hong Kong in 1984 and developed himself as a chemical safety expert. He then served as one of the founder consultants of the Occupational Safety and Health Council of Hong Kong in1989. His contribution to the Industrial within the period included the setup of an OSH library, development of pilot audit program, safety supervisor training package and auditor training program for OSHC Mr. LO Hon Yeung, Andy Past President & Current EC Member MSc., Chartered Fellow of IOSH (CFIOSH), Accredited Safety Auditor, Registered Safety Auditor, Registered Safety Officer and Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner. He is an active Council Member of the Hong Kong Occupational Safety and Health Association (HKOSHA) since 1984, Ex MTR Senior Safety Advisor, Ex OSH course Co-ordinator of IC, PolyU Andy is the course co-ordinator for the first academic Safety & Health course leading to Registered Safety Officer course in Hong Kong since 1979. In mid-nineties, he joined Mass Transit Railway Corporation and has been involved in a number of major railway projects which including tunneling construction, bridges and viaducts, track works and rolling stocks, and other heavy ventilation plant buildings. Andy continuous supports the OSH profession after his retirement through consultancy, education and training. The foster a good safety culture issue remains one of his favourable subjects of interest. Dr TSE Chun Kuen, Alex Hon. Secretary of HKOSHA Former Programme Director, HKMU, and ex programme leaders of various local and overseas OSH programmes, is a Registered Safety Officer, Registered Professional Hygienist, and Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) from American Board of Industrial Hygiene, a Professional Member of Arboricultural Association and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI), the International Institute of Risk & Safety Management (FIIRSM) and the Hong Kong Institution of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene (FMHKIOEH). He is currently serving different local and overseas health and safety organisations as Honorary Secretary, Honorary Advisor, Chair, Council Member and Committee Member respectively. Dr Tse is a seasoned health, safety and environment practitioner, educator, mentor and training professional. He has over 28 years of solid experience in occupational health, safety and environment (HSE). He started his career as a frontline HSE practitioner in local universities then later moving onto management and teaching of various programmes related to HSE. Dr. Tse has contributed to professional and community services related to occupational health and safety for many years and counting.
