Mr. Harvey Huang has 15 years’ experience in the field of NDT. He works for Hong Kong Airlines as a Senior NDT Engineer currently. Also, he is the founder of B&R International Personnel Certification Ltd (BRIPC) which is an accredited PCB to ISO/IEC 17024 for NDT personnel certification according to ISO 9712.
Abstract: Non-Destructive testing (NDT) is one of the common analysis techniques used in science and technology industry to evaluate the properties of a material, component or system without causing damage. As a quality control and quality assurance management tool, NDT plays a vital role in industries such as aerospace, pipelines, bridges, refineries and oil platforms as well as power stations as it can help prevent failures that could have an adverse impact on safety, reliability, and the environment.
The speaker will review and explain different kind of Non-Destructive Testing methods, he will share:
1. Introduction to NDT.  
2. The role of NDT in quality control.  
3. Introduction to NDT applications.
The speaker will introduce ISO 9712 NDT& condition monitoring personal certification, he will share:

Professor Eur Ing Ir MAK has been working over 20 years in plant enhancement project (Fuel/LPG/lubes terminal, ISO22000 food factory, HKGMP pharm factory). He has experience in LPG tank revalidation services, LNG pipeline A&A inspection work, Borescope inspection in Pharmaceutical Plants, certification of Tower Crane & LALG. He is represented Shenzhen-Hong Kong Professional Management Association Ltd. to present this seminar (Review of Welding Report & ISO 9712 course).
Abstract: Non-Destructive Test (NDT) is particularly cost effective because materials are tested in ways that do not alter the integrity of the material being examined. It is incredibly useful for determining the safety and reliability of products/welds/structure that are currently in-use as well as for future use. NDT methods can detect internal and external irregularities and imperfections, determine the structure or composition of materials, and make accurate measurements of the products being tested – without destroying them.
