Webinar on Confined Space Safety Operations in Live Drainage

He supervises project team to tackle various work challenges inside existing live sewer. Abstract: The Drainage Services Department has launched a few large-scale rehabilitation projects in recent years and there will be more drainage works in upcoming decades. Thus, there are increasing concerns about the occupational safety and health matters when dealing with drainage condition inspection, rehabilitation work for existing drainage facilities as well as underground storm drains and sewers. It is extremely impossible to completely divert sewage from existing facilities to carry out the works. These works always faces various work hazards, and it is necessary to work safely inside confined spaces. In the seminar, the speaker is going to share how a project team dealing with the daily work challenges and complying to legal requirements so as to ensure the safety and health of all persons who would enter into or work in confined spaces.
