Abstract of the Safety Seminar
Topic: Behavioural Safety and Culture of Safety at the Workplace 

Dr Li is a leading occupational safety and health practitioner with over thirty-six years of experience. He has also served in various leading roles in many professional organizations to help promote the OSH field and to nurture junior professionals. Areas of his research interest include accident prevention, safety management and behavioural safety.

A well-designed workplace with a well-structured SMS do not necessarily guarantee an injury-free workplace. As OSH practitioners, an understanding of behavioural safety and culture of safety at your workplaces are crucial for accident prevention and enhanced safety performance. 
    
The speaker will share with you:
a.	How personal beliefs, attitude and behavior of employees at the workplace and culture of safety affected an overall safety performance in the organization.
b.	Introduce key indicators of a positive safety culture in the organization.

Meeting New Members
The objectives of the event are:
a.	To welcome new members;
b.	To provide an opportunity for current members as well as Executive Council Members to meet the new members;
c.	Experience sharing among members, and
d.	To offer assistance to new members who may also be new in 
        the safety profession.
