Programme Highlights:
To appreciate and share good practices of the safety management systems of the Guangdong Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station of the Hong Kong Nuclear Investment Company Limited (HKNIC), in Mainland China.  
Located in Shenzhen of the Guangdong Province, Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station was the first large-scale commercial nuclear power station in China. It is also one of the earliest joint venture projects launched under China’s reform and opening up policy. In the 1980s, CLP joined hands with China General Nuclear Power Corporation in developing the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station. Since its commissioning in 1994, Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station has been supplying Hong Kong with clean, safe and reasonably-priced nuclear energy through dedicated plant and power lines, embarking CLP’s new milestone in providing its customers with zero carbon energy.

Fee and Registration:
	The visit is free for HKOHSA Member.  Participants shall pay a refundable registration fee of HK$50 to secure your attendance. We will refund the amount to you after completion of the visit.  Please send the fee  to the Association, and pay by crossed cheque payable to “The Hong Kong Occupational Safety and Health Association”. Alternatively, you may pay directly to our bank account (HSBC current A/C. No.: 111-078119-001)  and email (via admin@hkosha.org.hk) the transaction record to the Association for confirmation. No refund will be arranged for those who do not show up.
	Please complete the attached participant registration list for HKNIC, for arranging travel insurance as well as security clearance with the nuclear plant via email at admin@hkosha.org.hk on or before 11 November 2024. To further safeguard the privacy data, kindly use password encryption when you send over the document to us by email.  Successful application will be notified via email in due course.
