In order to meet the government's demand for 4S (Smart Site Safe System) in the construction industry, VTM had developed a series of training projects using VR technology to support and enhance the safety awareness of relevant construction workers. To improve safety and education-related risk knowledge in the industry’s working environment, more than 35 units are now available for learning and training, such as: Mechanical operations: flame cutting, hoist truck, crane, excavator, dump truck, lifting platform. Construction safety: metal scaffolding, manhole repair, offshore/riverside work, tunnel work, piling work. Basic safety awareness: fire extinguishers, correct safe entrances and exits, handling of flammable liquids, fire escape. To allow workers to be trained on simulated high-risk work processes and procedures in a safe manner. VTM also provides standardized training courses to ensure the quality of learning, improve workers' understanding of the workplace, and conduct training anytime, anywhere without occupying a large area of space. The size of visit per day is limited to 15 attendances. Successful application will be notified via email in due course. The Visit is free of charge and a certificate for an hour and a half will be issued to members of HKOSHA upon completion of the visit. (It will be subject to Labour Department to accept CPD hours or not).
